Returns & Refunds
We want you to be pleased with your Luminaress purchase. Please review this policy before placing your order.
Return Window
Eligible physical products may be returned within 30 days of delivery.
To qualify for a return, the item must be unused, unworn, unwashed, and in its original condition and packaging. Journals and notebooks must be unmarked. Scarves and other textiles must show no signs of wear, washing, fragrance, makeup, or damage. Totes and accessories must be unused and returned with any original packaging or tags.
Starting a Return
Before sending an item back, contact us at studio@luminaress.com with your order number and the reason for the return.
We will provide return instructions and the appropriate return address. Please wait for authorization before mailing your item, as products may require different return destinations. Items returned without prior authorization may be delayed or may not qualify for a refund.
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for purchasing and paying for their own return shipping label for standard returns.
We recommend using a trackable shipping service and retaining your shipping receipt until the return has been completed. Luminaress is not responsible for returned items lost or damaged in transit.
Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. Orders that received complimentary standard shipping will not have an additional outbound shipping charge deducted from the refund.
Luminaress does not charge a restocking fee.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order when it arrives. Contact us within 30 days of delivery if an item is damaged, defective, misprinted, or different from what you ordered.
Email studio@luminaress.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photographs of the item and packaging.
Once the issue is confirmed, we will arrange a replacement or refund at no additional cost to you. Please do not return a damaged, defective, or incorrect item unless we provide return instructions.
Items That Cannot Be Returned
The following items are final sale unless they arrive damaged, defective, misprinted, or incorrect:
Personalized products or products made to a customer’s individual specifications
Digital downloads
Gift cards
Items marked “Final Sale”
Products that have been used, worn, washed, altered, marked, or damaged after delivery
Minor variations in color, placement, scale, texture, or appearance may occur because of differences in screens, materials, printing processes, and the individually produced nature of certain products. These normal variations are part of the finished piece and are not considered defects.
Refunds
We will inspect your return after it is received.
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method after inspection. Please allow up to 14 days for the refund to be processed and appear on your account, depending on your bank or card provider.
We reserve the right to reduce or decline a refund when an item is returned outside the return window or arrives used, worn, washed, altered, incomplete, damaged, or otherwise outside the conditions described in this policy.
Exchanges
We do not process direct exchanges.
To receive a different item, return the eligible original item for a refund and place a new order.
Order Changes and Cancellations
Many Luminaress products enter production soon after an order is placed. Contact us as quickly as possible if you need to change or cancel an order.
We will make a reasonable effort to accommodate your request, but changes and cancellations cannot be guaranteed after production has begun.
Lost or Missing Deliveries
If tracking shows that your package is delayed, lost, or delivered but you have not received it, contact us at studio@luminaress.com.
We may ask you to confirm the shipping address and check with household members, neighbors, the carrier, or your local delivery office before a replacement or refund is considered.
Claims involving lost or missing packages should be submitted within 30 days of the estimated delivery date.
Luminaress is not responsible for delivery issues caused by an incorrect or incomplete shipping address provided by the customer. Additional shipping charges may apply if an order must be replaced or reshipped because of an address error.
